A short piece of several aerial and dance vignettes, interpreted via realtime depth software. With a rise in misinformation, and social media and news bubbles that interpret real-world events such as Covid-19 and the Black Lives Matter uprisings, we can better understand those events by minimizing the perceptual distance between the events and our own eyes and senses. Realtime processing is a technique to provide that direct visual translation, and attempt to subvert other means and sources of misinformation. 

We Will Make It Out Of This Alive is about teasing out what is real from this sea of misinformation, in the face of virus lockdowns, police violence, street protests, and political unrest. By taking a step back from over-amplified social media and news reactions, looking at our streets and neighborhoods with our own eyes, finding a calm (or agitated) internal place, re-assessing, re-connecting with kindred spirits, and then re-approaching our world, we can, and will overcome those forces that hinder our collective liberation.
